Bixby offers a variety of foam substrates which are available in a wide range of weights, thickness, and colors. Foam substrates offer excellent cushioning, sound/thermal insulation, weight reduction, and bonding characteristics in custom laminations.

Fabrics provide additional strength and stability to a product structure. Woven and knit fabrics can be added to lend dimensional stability, tensile properties, directional reinforcement, directional elongation and aesthetics to any of our polymer extrusions. Non-woven fabrics can act as cushioning, spacers, reinforcement, or offer an excellent bonding surface for secondary laminating operations. For more details visit our Materials Section.

Bixby can work with any films available as rolled goods. Typical films used in our extruded laminations are olefins, polyesters, vinyls, polyamides, urethanes, polyetherimides, polyaryletherketones, fluoropolymers, acrylics, specialty films or any customer specified film substrate.

Any materials available as rolled goods can be utilized in Bixby’s processes. We are willing to work with unique substrates to develop novel laminate constructions.
